S+G Abrasives Ltd is a private New Zealand owned and operated company formed in 1973. We are located on Auckland’s North Shore.
We are the largest independent supplier of abrasives to the New Zealand market with the advantage of having access to the enormous technical resources of our international suppliers who are acknowledged as being amongst the foremost in the world. This large supplier base also enables us to have products custom made to meet the technical requirements of many of our clients.
As an Importer and Wholesaler of a full range of coated, bonded, reinforced and other abrasives, our products are only available from a well established network of nationwide distributors. We also regularly export to other South Pacific countries.
We hold a number of exclusive New Zealand agencies from around 40 suppliers worldwide. For example "GLOBE" cutting and grinding reinforced product from Italy, "CIBO" polishing systems and unique abrasives from Belgium, "EEZER" sanding boards and replacement orbital sander pads from U.S.A, "MIRKA" high quality coated abrasives such as Gold, Abranet, Abralon from Finland, "RIKEN" velcro discs, wet & dry sheets, dry sanding sheets and Yellow-E rolls, "KINIK" bonded abrasives, and many more.
Our sales staff combine many years experience in timber machining, cabinet making, engineering, saw & knife servicing, automotive refinishing, customer service and sales.
We have great reputation with our customers for our service, technical support and prompt deliveries. We also provide demonstrations and training sessions with both distributors and end users on our more specialised products such as the MIRKA Dustless sanding systems or the CIBO metal polishing equipment.
